  Liquid Metal Coating

Liquid metallic coating is a cold metal spraying process that uses real metal powders along with binders to form a rigid surface to provide metallic finishes to almost any substrate . It is becoming increasingly popular as a means of providing a metallic look and feel to a wide range of surfaces and objects including geometrical or organic form.
The liquid metallic coating process provides significant benefits over traditional solid metal casting or fabrication, particularly in terms of reduced cost and weight. Materials treated with liquid metallic coatings are versatile and used across a wide range of applications—both interior and exterior— including cladding, custom components, furniture, sculptures, artworks, and signage. For outdoor use, these coatings may require specialized treatments to ensure durability and performance.

Liquid metallic coating is a surface treatment technique that involves applying a blend of fine metal powder and adequate binder onto a chosen substrate . Once cured , the coating can be finished using various methods to replicate the appearance of cast metal with striking realism . The final surface may be smooth or textured, allowing for a broad spectrum of aesthetic effects. Compared to traditional casting or solid metal fabrication , liquid metallic coating offers notable advantages in cost efficiency, reduced weight, and expanded design flexibility. It can be applied to a wide range of substrates , including timber, MDF, plywood , resin, and more—making it a versatile solution for both functional and decorative applications.
